Understanding the distinct architecture of the home, we installed 12″ James Hardie siding to enhance its appearance. The sides of the dormers received 8 1/4″ James Hardie siding, chosen to complement the home’s existing aesthetic. For the front dormers, we installed James Hardie Straight Edge Primed Fiber Shakes, bringing a textured, dimensional beauty that catches the eye.
Aware that a home’s well-being extends beyond its surface, we discovered the need for additional roofing ventilation. Our team carefully added this vital feature, addressing the house’s previously insufficient ventilation. This critical improvement not only extends the life of the home’s roof but also enhances energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
Facing the challenge of water damage, we custom-built and installed a flashing pan for the chimney. This innovative solution effectively diverts water away, protecting both the siding and the decking where the chimney meets the roofline.Â
We also upgraded the home with new 6″ guttering and 3″x4″ downspouts on the rear elevation. This significant enhancement ensures proper water management, safeguarding the home’s foundation and landscaping from water damage.
